Annual Bike Build - Build the Factory

Join us at the NRG Center as we transform the space into a bike-building factory! Volunteers will help unload containers, set up tables, and prepare supplies for thousands of bikes. Your work here lays the foundation for every bike that will reach 2nd graders in Title 1 schools.

About the event
Join Us for the 2025 Bike Build & Distribution Event!
Make a difference by helping us build bicycles that will bring joy and motivation to 2nd graders across the city. Last year, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, we built 12,000 bikes that were delivered to deserving students in 86 Title 1 schools. This year, we’re aiming even higher!
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to reward hard-working students with brand-new bicycles they earn through their dedication to learning. By focusing on 2nd graders, we target a critical year in their reading development, giving them the motivation to succeed in school and beyond.
